We are grateful to Otonomee for supporting NextGen's newest project: Futsal sessions.
We started our futsal classes not so long ago because we believe futsal is a valuable addition to football development. The smaller playing area, tighter spaces and faster transitions give players more touches, less time to think and more decisions to make. These skills complement our football sessions and help players become more comfortable solving problems in different game situations.
Starting a new project also comes with additional costs. New equipment, extra field rental and other expenses all add up. Otonomee's support has helped us take this new project forward.
Otonomee's values include trust, accountability, curiosity and growth. These are values we recognise in our own approach to coaching.
We don't want children who simply wait for instructions. We want them to think for themselves, make decisions, take responsibility, learn from mistakes and keep improving. We want to give football back to the children, because the game should belong to them. We believe development happens when children are given the right environment, the freedom to explore and the opportunity to grow.
Otonomee's philosophy of Together We Grow resonates with what we're building at NextGen. Different fields, but a shared understanding that meaningful development takes time, trust and the right environment.
With the launch of NextGen Futsal, we also wanted to give the new project its own identity. Thanks to Otonomee's support, we were able to create a new futsal kit in light blue with white shorts and provide one to every player for free.
We're proud to wear the Otonomee logo on our chest and to have your support behind our players as they continue to grow.
